KCTCS to Alice Lloyd College

Alice Lloyd College is excited to partner with the Kentucky Community and Technical College System. We have created a seamless transfer process for students to complete their Bachelor’s Degree at Alice Lloyd College.

Benefits Available to KCTCS Students Transferring to Alice Lloyd College:

• Appalachian Leaders Scholarship – All enrolled students pay $0 out-of-pocket toward tuition.
• Geddes Scholarship – An additional $500 per year scholarship to students transferring to ALC with at least a 3.0 GPA
• Caney Scholars Program – Financially assists qualified ALC graduates pursuing advanced degrees. Caney Scholars attending the University of Kentucky live at the Cottage rent and utility-free, just one block from campus. Scholars attending other colleges or universities are granted cash scholarships toward expenses.
• Updated Campus Housing – ALC offers two new women’s residence halls and three newly renovated men’s residence halls.
• Small Class Sizes – Alice Lloyd College offers small class sizes for a one-on-one approach to education.
• iPurpose Initiative – All full-time students receive iPad
• $0 Textbook costs – Students will pay $0 for all course textbooks and materials.
