As I reflect on my accomplishments and my life today, I am very thankful God led that seventeen-year-old girl to Alice Lloyd College. I was born and raised near Cincinnati, Ohio. At the age of 15, I found my home in Eastern Kentucky after the death of my mother, who was raising me on her own. I graduated from Red Bird Christian School in 1989 and received my BA in Early Elementary Education (K-4) from Alice Lloyd College in 1995. That same year, I married my husband, Mike.

Dr. Cody Reynolds grew up in Phelps, Kentucky – a small town teetering on the edge of the Kentucky and West Virginia border. In high school, Cody was recognized as a Kentucky Governor’s Scholar, opening up the opportunity for scholarships to collegiate institutions statewide.
