Lady Eagles Earn Split in Pittsburgh
The Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles embarked on a journey to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania last weekend where they battled the Point Park University Lady Pioneers and the Carlow University Lady Celtics. Here are recaps of the two games that happened on December 7th and December 8th.
Eagles Trounce Kentucky Christian, 83-59
The Alice Lloyd Eagles traveled to Grayson, Kentucky on Tuesday, December 3rd to take on the Kentucky Christian Knights. The Eagles had zero problems taking this one as they would go on to tear apart the Knights, 83-59.
Lady Eagles Handle KCU, 80-68
The Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles were back in action on Tuesday, December 3rd, in Grayson, Kentucky where they squared off with the Lady Knights of Kentucky Christian University. ALC was able to take care of business in this contest, winning by a score of 80-68.

Nickell Reaches 2,000-Point Mark for Career
Lady Eagles’ 5’9″ forward Ariel Nickell recently claimed her spot in Alice Lloyd College’s 2,000-Point Club. Nickell, a senior from Tazewell, Tn., is only the second female from ALC to join the club.
ALC Spring Play: Call for Auditions
Eagle Theatre’s spring production, Censored on Final Approach, is currently seeking a cast and crew. Auditions for the play are open to Alice Lloyd students, faculty, and staff, as well as to people from the surrounding community. Spring play auditions are scheduled for Monday, November 25th, from 6 – 8 PM in the Campbell Arts Center (CAC).

The Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles were back on their home floor on Tuesday night, November 12th, against the University of Pikeville. The Lady Eagles won this game in impressive fashion, 93-84.
Eagles Dismantle Boyce College, Win 88-54
The Alice Lloyd Eagles were back in action on Tuesday night, November 12th, as they hosted the Boyce College Bulldogs out of Louisville, Kentucky. ALC was never challenged in this contest as the home team won this one going away, 88-54.

Caney Convocation Series Welcomes Lorinda Jones
The next guest in Alice Lloyd College’s Caney Convocation Series is Lorinda Jones, a music therapist and owner of Music Therapy Service of Central Kentucky. She is a nationally-recognized performer, teacher, and recording artist of the mountain dulcimer.
ALC Students Support Cancer-Stricken Coach and Relay for Life
On Wednesday, November 6th, Alice Lloyd College hosted a very special talent show, proceeds of which will be divided and given to Relay for Life and local high school football coach Chuck Fugate. Fugate was diagnosed with leukemia in August.
