We award the Male Athlete of the Week honor to freshman guard Blake Smith. In the Eagles five games over the Christmas break, Smith played well, scoring 78 points on 33-57 field goals (57.8%). This included a career high 31 point outburst over highly respected Saint Thomas University (FL) on the road. He also grabbed 19 rebounds.
