Greenville, SC: Senior guard Blake Smith led his team to a 1-1 week in River States Conference play, recording 2 double-doubles.
In a close 88-85 overtime loss to conference-leading West Virginia Tech University, Smith recorded 35 points, 5 rebounds, and a career-high 11 assists. During the contest, he also surpassed the 2000-point milestone for his career.
Later in the week, an 83-77 win on the road at Rio Grande University, he tallied 32 points and 10 rebounds.
Smith is currently leading the NCCAA in scoring at 27 PPG.
