The Alice Lloyd Eagles journeyed to Berea to face the home standing Berea Mountaineers in conference play over the weekend. Below are recaps of each game.

The Eagles jumped out to a 12-3 lead and cruised to victory. The visitors outhit their foes 19-13 on the day.
Cody Hyden continued his torrid hitting with 4 hits. Will Leonard, Shane Pack, and Brandon Arnold each added 3 more hits while Pack had 5 RBIs and Leonard added 2 doubles and 4 RBIs.
On the mound, Neil Dillon struck out 5 batters and earned the victory.

Berea scored six quick runs in the first and won the game going away. The Eagles destroyed themselves by committing a season high 8 errors. The hosts outhit their guests 18-12.
Shane Pack, Brandon Arnold, and Trae Minton each accounted for 2 hits. Arnold and Trey King each added 2 RBIs.
On the mound, Cory Brewer suffered the loss.

The Eagles cracked an impressive 24 hits in the big win. Cody Hyden, Brandon Arnold, and Trae Minton each stroked 4 hits while Shane Pack and Ben Ray added 3 apiece. Hyden and Pack each walloped a homerun and Pack recorded 5 RBIs.
Wayne Sparks went the distance on the mound to earn the win. He struck out 4 batters.

The Eagles were outhit 14-11, but they made their hits count in earning the win. Brandon Arnold had 3 hits and Jeff Cyrus added 2, including a double. Trae Minton struck the biggest blow as he blasted a 3-run homerun.
Nathan Bingham went the distance on the mound to earn the win. He struck out 4 batters.

In a make-up contest, the Eagles were held to just 4 hits and dropped the decision. The bright spot was Brandon Arnold who continued his hot batting. He had 2 hits for his fifth consecutive multi-hit game.
Pitcher Neil Dillon suffered the loss while striking out 5 batters.
