ALC-13; PC-3{nl}Senior right fielder Adam Adkins crushed two home runs and had 4 RBI’s to lead the visiting Alice Lloyd Eagles to a 13-3 victory over the home-standing Pikeville College Bears last night. The win was the Eagle’s eighth consecutive.{nl}Sparked by Adkins, ALC put five runs on the board in the second inning and led 10-3 after five.{nl}Adkins received a ton of help from his friends. Leftfielder Kyle Potter assisted by knocking in three runs on two hits including a mammoth homerun to left-center field. Third baseman Joe Rasnake added three hits of his own, while catcher CJ Lynn and first baseman Will Leonard swatted two hits apiece.{nl}Pitcher Trevor Corns went the distance on the mound as the sophomore scattered five hits over eight innings of work. After giving the Bears three runs in the bottom of the second, Corns pitched six flawless innings the rest of the way. For the contest, the Eagles outslugged the Bears 16-5.
